I have been involved in the arts since i was young. This involved dress up games, and small, simple, video editing on free mobile apps. This is when my love for art and design bloomed. In school, my favourite subjects were art, creative imedia and graphic design. I loved creating things, using my imagination and my hands to create something has always been a magical process to me, something i have a profound love for. Through my teen years, covid 19 hit, which meant i was stuck inside for the majority of my young adulthood. Although sad, i used this time playing my design games, creating and imagining products, drawing up drafts to houses, designing clothes and furniture, making posters and practicing my typography. It was during these lockdown years my love for digital art was formed too. For my 13th birthday, i recieved an new ipad, and on this ipad i downloaded procreate. I spent hours learning how to edit images on the platform, and from there started to create small image edits, and it didnt stop there. After coming back to school, i decided to take Graphics at GSCE, and i loved it. Although it was hard, i loved following and creating the projects, making chocolate bars, a poster of rome, character creation, creation of a product/product cover. My love for the arts remains as strong as it was day 1, playing my dress up apps.
